2. How does Meetpol.com work?
Meetpol.com partly works as other dating sites where you can make your own profile and search other people’s profiles and partly as a dating agency where you can ask for help and receive personal advice.
Meetpol.com is different because:
- it is also translated into Polish and shown in Poland. That way the website reaches more people – in particular Polish women who do not speak other languages very well, but who are interested in finding a friend or partner abroad.
- the site is designed to help you contact and communicate with Polish women. There are two standard letters translated into Polish on the site, a dictionary (made especially for Meetpol.com and containing many helpful phrases) which is constantly updated according to demand and a link to an English-Polish dictionary.
- Marlena Sørensen answers the phone herself and helps you with your questions or if you have any problems with the site. You can also contact her through the internet on this adress: info@meetpol.com.

Why has my photo been rejected?
Remember that your photo must:
- not be a group photo
- feature yourself
- not be bigger than 600 kB nor smaller than 150x150 pixel
- not be pornographic, vulgar or obscene
- not have “unused” space, such as large white areas around the photo
- not be a collage
- not contain graphics
- not hide your face

Why can’t I delete my photo?
You cannot delete your photo until three days after it has been published.

How do I change my username?
You have to cancel your Meetpol.com account. By doing that you lose all of your information, e.g. mail, pictures, messages. You can register again with a new username.

Why is my ad not being shown on my page?
We control the contents of your ad, which may take up to three days. We maintain the right to change or delete an ad if it does not live up to our terms of use.

Why has my ad been rejected?
Here are the possible reasons why your ad has been rejected. The ad:
- contains personal contact information such as e-mail adresses, web adresses, phone numbers, last names, postal adresses and so on.
- is empty
- contains inaproppriate words or subjects
- is commercial
- does not live up to our terms of use

How does Meetpol.com treat personal information?
All personal data is treated confidentially and is not forwarded without the consent of the user. Meetpol.com is registered with and approved by Datatilsynet.
